This week I joined the team in travelling to Milan and Dusseldorf with the project that I am working on! Although it was a flying visit I still managed to experience some of the specialities on offer - the shopping in Milan and some of the local cusine in Dusseldorf. Andrew and Andy (my PwC collegues) led the way and introduced me to a great shopping strip where I picked up some shoes, a jumper and a tie (for Stephen).

After arriving in Dusseldorf at the hotel we headed to the restaurant where I was introduced to a traditional German meal - venision, brussel sprouts and german noodles YUMMY!

A very enjoyable trip - after this taster now I am looking forward to returning to these countries and continuing my exploration, next time with Stephen in tow.
