Tim and BJ in London

Saturday marked our first official day of holidays (we're taking 2 weeks with Stephen's parents) and we were fortunate enough to have visitors to show around. Tim and BJ were over for a wedding, and decided to make a month out of it and travel all over Europe. They've suggested heaps of places that we'll add to our list of must-dos, and in return we took them on a whirlwind tour of London. We've also put a link to their Blog on the right - it is worth checking out for the video of the train ride alone...hopefully BJ will put up some of her photos, too, because she got some great ones.

The gang outside St Pauls Cathedral - we finally made it inside (the first time we came to London I was too sick, and the last time we tried they closed the doors as we arrived - this time they'd closed the dome, but at least we got in!)

Buckingham Palace from the London Eye...St James's Park in the foreground

Tim on the London Eye, with London stretched out as far as you can see behind him

Westminster looking like a toy parliament from this height...it looked even cooler up close

It is an incredible piece of engineering!

Hey Guys!
Sorry we haven't blogged our visit on Tim's website. We WILL get around to it, one day :) I'm on school holidays in a week, so it'll get done then.
Thanks also for mentioning my photos. I've put some on facebook but I'm not up to London yet on that either. We haven't forgotten you. Hope you enjoyed the vino!
